This is just a reminder that the H&H apps may or may not get installed correctly in Civil 3D 2010.

If they do not, you will typically see an error message when you try to launch any of those apps.

Solution:

This is caused by missing HHApps directory within user profile. To confirm if this is the issue go to following location and check if Express, Hydrographs, StormSewer directories exist in the HHApps directory.

For XP: C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\C3D 2010\enu\HHApps

For Vista: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Autodesk\C3D 2010\enu\HHApps

{Update: If you don’t see the AppData or Local Settings folder, we need to show hidden folders, click for XP or VISTA}

To resolve this issue copy HHApps directory from I:\Civil3D\Admin\2010 and paste it in the location mentioned above and then restart Civil 3D 2010!
