“Vault”-ing Has Never Been Easier

While this may be old news to some, I felt it would still be worthwhile to mention to the uninitiated that Autodesk Vault is currently available for download to all Subscription Customers.

What is Vault you ask? Simply put, it’s a data management system that can help you organize all your design information in a centralized location. Features such as the ability to control access to design files via a permission-based control system or to maintain all versions of a design progression make this tool an invaluable asset for those with an active subscription. For a full description of Autodesk Vault and all its features, please visit the Subscription Center and select Autodesk Vault from the Product Information & Downloads section.

Currently the client software is only compatible with the following applications:

  • AutoCAD 2007 and 2008
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008
  • Land Desktop 2008
  • Architectural Desktop 2007 and AutoCAD Architecture 2008
  • Building Systems 2007 and AutoCAD MEP 2008
  • Inventor Series or Inventor Professional 11 and 2008
  • AutoCAD Mechanical 2007 and 2008
  • AutoCAD Electrical 2007 and 2008
