Yes, green is everywhere, including the grass.  What i’m referring to is the ongoing discussion being had at all levels about Sustainability.  Generally, this revolves around buildings. But clearly buildings do not sit in a vacuum.  They sit on our gracefully designed sites that elicit immense awe and inspiration.  OK, so mostly perspiration, but that’s another story…

Autodesk is having a series on Sustainability and how the various applications they create can help with the process.  Enough already – why should civil engineer’s care?  Read on….

Autodesk is having a monthly live webcast series to show how

..the principles of sustainable design, methods for sustainable building techniques, and building information modeling (BIM) as a means for multi-disciplinary project teams [can] design, analyze, coordinate and build high-performance, sustainable buildings.
